My son loved reading about John and his move to the country. Great for a third grader!
I bought this book for my 7-year-old son. I read it aloud to him the first time, and the second time he read it to himself. Both times he enjoyed it very much. It has simple language for the early grades, but the story is interesting and relatable.
My boy loved reading this story!! He loved the pictures and that the words were perfectly challenging!!
