Beanie Boxed Set

These are absolutely wonderful lighthearted stories that are sure to engage. My children loved hearing about Beanie and his adventures. They definitely teach a love for nature and respect for animals. We absolutely loved Beanie and his pony.

I love the writing, images, and stories in these two little books. They have a great blend of trouble, excitement, and humor. I love that each book takes place in such different places: one in Beanie’s own mountain home, and the other at his great-grandparents’ summer home by the sea. Both locations offer such engaging backdrops for the sweet stories. Beanie is a good role model with a touchingly soft heart for animals, and his family is kind, hard working, and tight-knit. I absolutely love the relationship between Beanie and his father in both books. These are two great stories!

We loved the stories of Beanie and the animals he grew to love. We enjoyed reading stories that took us back to a simpler time. Beanie’s love for animals shines in these books, but there are also lessons that can be learned to help our children grow to be better people. We really enjoyed these two stories.

My 10yo girl read this and loved it! She hasn’t been too intrested in reading yet so it was really nice to see her intrested.

I am a homeschooling mom of 6 from ages 2-13. I bought this book set mainly for my son who loves dogs and all animals, really. We loved these books and have fallen in love with Beanie and the Tatum family! The stories are so fun, sweet, descriptive, and have beautiful sketch illustrations on almost every page! They teach good values such as honesty, courage, love, kindness, and appreciation for nature. I also love how they take place in a time now past, so it gives a child a great window into what life was like in those days. This is the first set of books from the Good and the Beautiful library we have finished and I have been very impressed! I can tell from the other books we have already started, that they are going to be great, too. So now, I am super excited to finish reading the ones we have started and look forward to reading the others we have purchased!!
