I was hesitant to buy, but I’m so glad I did. These are wonderful books. My kids love to use them to create drawings, books, and cards to send to others. The books spread across a wide level of skill and ability. They will be well loved for many years to come.
Excellent for Quiet Time and More
My kids like to keep their hands busy when I read to them so these are perfect for them to draw as they listen. The books increase in difficulty as the levels go up so we are learning from the start to get the basics down. I have tried a few too and they are very helpful. The steps are easy to follow.

Fun for boys too
I was skeptical about this set for my boys ages 7, 9, and 12 because I didn’t think they’d enjoy vintage images, but the images in these books are so fun to draw. My 7 year old took book 1 outside with him to draw birdhouses on the driveway with chalk the first day the books arrived. I’m excited to learn to draw along with my kids with a simple progression from objects to people and scenes.
