A lot of information packed into a small book that my children love! I highly recommend this book.
Whether used with Anthropoids Science Unit or as a stand alone book it is a great book to have on your shelf. It inspired us to make wormeries of our own to observe an ecosystem!
We enjoyed this book about ecosystems. The photos are beautiful! It was interesting to read about different ecosystems around the world. I loved the application of our bodies being their own ecosystems. This book prompted my kids to pay closer attention to the nature in our own backyard, to see the ways the different organisms depend on each other.
The photos in this book are amazing. They really help to create interest in ecosystems. The text is informative and easy to understand with hints that prompt further discovery and learning behind the book itself. Great addition to our home library.
This was an insightful book on ecosystems found around our world. It compares ecosystems in Western Australia, Maryland, and Hong Kong. With great pictures, it gives you a look into the animals and plants that can be found in these ecosystems and how they interact.
Ecosystems are everywhere you look—out your kitchen window, underneath the ground, even on your own skin! They all work in perfect harmony, and each is an incredible example of God’s creative power. In this book, you’ll travel to three unique ecosystems around the world and learn about the plants and animals that live and work there side by side. Some are cute and some are creepy, but they all play a vital role in keeping their ecosystem—and our earth—healthy.
