I was shocked at how close this book was to the Level 9 book. It is accurate and written perfectly for a child to understand. My daughter better understands frustration, perspective and capabilities after reading this book.

Engaging from the first page. I learned some new things about Helen Keller and my kids enjoyed learning about her too. I caught my 7 year old trying to make the hand signs for the alphabet that is included in the middle of the story, (much better than a page at the back or front). My 9 year old loved the illustrations!

Great introduction to the life of Helen Keller. My daughter (7 years old) learned of her from a tv program, and was just so interested to read more about her . This was the first book she chose from the TGTB website when we were picking a few books to begin with. It was the first book to come out of the box and she read it the same day it arrived!
