Our of the 27 different books that my 10 year old daughter has read from TGTB library, this one is her favorite! She’s read it multiple times. She describes is as being heartwarming and adventurous.

I think this is our favorite story so far from TGTB! This story of Joey and Juggins is full of adventure, mystery, and thrills that kept us wanting to read another chapter! Such a beautiful story of friendship and family with the best surprise ending! Definitely a must read!

I like that it is a nice book where everyone is nice to each other and says nice things to each other. I like that it has mystery to it as well. It is good to read “nice” books because in a lot of other books I’ve read everyone is negative and unhappy. These people find ways to be happy even though they are poor. The girl and her dad work hard and save their money. I think those are good things too. ( From my 11 year old son)
