This book of poems has been one of our favorite books from TGTB. Reading it built a love of poetry in my child that has continued to this day and resulted in the purchase of more books of poetry.
As a parent, one thing I absolutely LOVE about this book is that every poem in the book is appropriate for young children. Unlike most books of poetry for children, I do not have to worry about the poems being crass or inappropriate in any way. It has been very difficult to find the other books of poetry we have purchased because we want all of them to be that way.
I wish TGTB sold more poetry collections because I can count on TGTB books to be appropriate.
