This cute story takes place in Quebec, somewhere I didn’t previously know much about. I loved how Jeanne-Marie was close to her family, including cousins and grandparents and she even spends a while with her grandparents. The story is lovely!
We loved this book, especially my daughter. She can relate to wanting a bird more than anything in the world. Shows compassion and sacrifice. Such a cute find
