My 10 year old daughter now asks to read at bedtime. She has been a reluctant reader but these books have been great for her. Dachshunds are her favorite so this book set is perfect. Short chapters, cute stories, and enough adventure to keep the pages turning.
My kids thought Miss Marvelous and the dogs were hilarious. The stories were cute and easy for my son to read. We loved them.
This set of stories is simply delightful! It’s a story for the whole family to enjoy about a woman who owns a bakery and her cleverly (and tastily) named puppies. There are two books that include three stories each. Each of the books are sequels and are meant to be read in order. They are engaging and fun stories. I love that the chapters (and stories) are short. The length really helps this level of reader feel like they are progressing through the book quickly. This is definitely something that my children at this age appreciate and enjoy.
These delightful stories are so fun to read. I loved the names that the author chose for her characters, truly yummy: Ginger, Spice, Pumpkin, Syrup, Miss Marvelous and Mr. Silver. The names just made the characters so endearing. I loved the great examples of friendship, love, service, community and more!
My 10 yo loved these super cute stories about three clever, sweet dogs! She loves that the dogs help others and save the day. She also likes the friendships of the people in the stories. As a mom, I enjoyed reading them as well. There’s a lot of love and kindness among the people in the stories, and watching those relationships evolve through the books was really fun!
Pumpkin, Ginger, Spice, Syrup, Peanuts, and Taffy are six yummy names for six adorable dachshund puppies. Follow their adventures with the endearing Miss Marvelous and other lovable characters in this easy-to-read, charming set of books.
