My 10 yo loved these super cute stories about three clever, sweet dogs! She loves that the dogs help others and save the day. She also likes the friendships of the people in the stories. As a mom, I enjoyed reading them as well. There’s a lot of love and kindness among the people in the stories, and watching those relationships evolve through the books was really fun!

This is a set of two charming books about dachshund puppies. They are full of fun characters, colorful names, and just enough adventure to keep children absorbed. They are perfect introductions to chapter books for kids who might be reluctant readers. I am planning to send these to my granddaughters.

I bought this set for my daughter who doesn’t like to read but loves animals. I gave them to her one night before bed and to my surprise she couldn’t put the first book down. The next morning she woke up with her nose in the book again. This has NEVER happened before. My heart was bursting! I struggle to get her to complete a chapter book, I will have no problem with these 2! I hope this opens her eyes to reading books you can get lost in. So grateful for this set!

My kids have loved these sweet stories of the puppies and the bakery. They now go around wanting to help others ‘like the puppies’.
