This book is beautiful in and out. The moral of the story really touched my daughter to want to be a servent to God. This is the first book I would recommend for any level to purchase
This book is so sweet! It allows a glimpse into lives that are quite different than the way we live and shares the goodness of dedication and faith. The illustrations are also beautiful.
Generosity, sacrifice, and work were just a few of the messages that I really liked in this book. My third grader enjoyed the story so much that she read it in just one sitting.
This is such a sweet story of a girl who sees a need in her community and sacrifices what she loves most to help meet that need. In the process of the book she provides an example of determination and love that inspires those around her. We loved this book!
Beautiful story!!! My daughter loved it, could not break away from the book until she finished it!!!
Maria’s world is brown, brown, brown! That is, except for her beautiful Sunday dress, and the wonderfully-colored stained glass windows at the church. When a storm causes a tree to fall and shatter the precious windows, Maria wants to do something to help earn enough money to replace them. Her ideas, her hard work, and her generosity bring beautiful colors and joy to the entire community.
