My 8 year old read it and liked the apple names and silly things the kids did. He said he was glad he read it. Thanks!
This story is funny and endearing at the same time. I loved that throughout the book the Apple family did everything together (work around the house, projects, playtime). I also appreciated the message throughout the book that sometimes we don’t get what we want because we let another person get what they want. This was shared by the whole family. I highly recommend this book!
My daughter and I loved this book! After she was finished reading it for the first time, she asked if she could reread it anytime she wanted! She is 7 1/2 years old.
My son (7) read this book to me. He very much enjoyed the “apple” theme throughout the book and highly recommends the book to other children.
Loved reading this with my daughter. This is a book not to be missed. My daughter and I loved reading it together.
At the end of the lane was an orchard full of crooked little trees. The trees were all covered with little pink blossoms. They were apple trees. In the very middle of the orchard was a house.
The Apple family lived in the city, but with so many new little Apples coming along, their home was becoming quite crowded. It didn’t take long for them to find the perfect house in the country, but it required some ingenuity and cooperation to make it their own. Follow along with the Apple family as–with tenacity and some animal mischievousness–they achieve their dream of owning a home suited for their every need.
