Simply Good and Beautiful Pre-Algebra | Math 8 is an engaging and academically thorough course that builds upon elementary math concepts to prepare students for algebra and further high school math studies. Students explore new math concepts including solving more complex equations, graphing, Pythagorean theorem, beginning geometry, systems of equations, calculator use, and operations with polynomials.

Daily video lessons are available on the Good and Beautiful Homeschool app or use the written lesson overviews in the colorful course books. The course is designed to be independently completed by the student, but the parent/teacher can choose to be as involved in the lessons as he or she would like. Specific problems in this course are designed to be completed with a scientific calculator.

The 120 lessons are divided into four units of 30 lessons each. Each course book contains one 30-lesson unit that ends with a unit review, assessment, and enrichment activity. The course books are printed on graph paper to help students organize and complete math computations and graphs.
