This story tells the life cycle of a turtle is a story format. It is very educational, and yet, my children (ages 9,8,6, 3) all loved it, sat through it, and begged for me to not stop reading it. A win!

A short book in length but attractive illustrations and good challenge words to build vocabulary. Interesting and informative, baby sea turtles have to navigate the dangers of their new life in the big ocean.

Come along with Sea Turtle, a green turtle learning to survive and thrive in the ocean almost entirely alone. From the moment he hatches out of his shell, he is in a desperate fight for his life, and he must learn to overcome many obstacles. Sea Turtle Swims the Ocean is so fun and beautifully written that children will hardly realize the number of facts they are learning as they read.
