My daughter and I loved reading this book together. Beautifully illustrated and I love that the book is hardback with a bookmark ribbon.
This is a great little book. I love the quality hardcover, binding, ribbon bookmark, and thick pages, as well as the size–perfect for small hands! The story follows Sue throughout the year and reflects a diverse community and uplifting relationships with friends and family. My 7 year old son really liked it, as well as my 10 year old daughter, even though it’s below her reading level. She still thought the stories were interesting and cute.
As others have said, we loved the size, the hard cover and the bookmark, perfect for young readers. My 7 year old boy turned his nose up at this book at first, I think because it features a girl, but he ended up reading it and told me that he really liked it. I liked the sweet, gentle messages woven into the seasons That promote kindness, faith, and love of people and nature.
Love the book – nice small size, simple and cute stories, lovely illustrations.
My younger kids really enjoyed following Sue throughout all the seasons of the year. The stories were simple, sweet and engaging. We love the size of the book and the hard cover.
