Susie and Lizzie Boxed Set

After reading these I asked my daughter what she liked about them, her response was, “everything.” What beautiful books, our favorite was Susie, the moral of helping someone in need was wonderful. I have a very dyslexic daughter finding books she enjoys reading is not hard with G.A.T.B. She absolutely loves the books and I’m so happy with this set. If you want short, wonderful, books the moral of kindness to fellow humans than this is your set. I love the covers as well.

My 7 year old daughter says, “These are really good books”, and “I liked them a lot.” She enjoyed something she said were the ‘wish book dreams’ in Lizzie, but enjoyed each book in their own way. She chose these off of the book shelf, to read to her grandmother over the telephone, because she was looking for female lead characters, but she had read all of the 2, 3, and 4 level books with female leads already (we own every library book in these levels so far, because they’ve all been SO GOOD- we’re HUGE fans of the library books, and I love that I don’t have to pretend them).

As always the TGTB books are such a blessing to my family. My daughter liked these cute stories. They weren’t as entertaining to her as the Poplar Street, Jeanne Marie or some others but still great quality so I still have them 5 stars

These two sweet books are a great look at how life was in early America for those living in the mountain areas. The writing is fantastic and the stories are packed with good messages. Me and my daughters loved the books! If you are looking for Harry Potter style thrilling excitement, these are not your books, but if you are looking for gentle, wholesome literature with engaging characters and meaningful messages, these are fantastic books.
