I have a hard time finding books that my daughter will read that aren’t solely animal related. Not only did she read these but highly enjoyed them as well.
These ones were not a hit in our house. Both myself and my daughter thought they were boring.
Delightful writing and lovable characters fill this beautiful pair of books, set in days past in the hills of Tennessee. Susie and Lizzie each learn life-long lessons about the value of a giving spirit and the blessings that come from helping others. May Justus is one of the model writers that brought goodness into the world through her stories. Now we are proud to bring back two of her best works in a beautiful set, to cherish for years to come.
