The Amazon Rainforest is a great resource. I enjoyed learning all about the Amazon Rainforest and the different creatures and plants that live there. The photos are amazing. I can’t wait to use it when we do our Ecosystems science unit.
Loads of information about geography, climate, plants, animals, conservation, and even some anthropology are packed into this beautiful book in an engaging way for readers of all ages. Reading about the Amazon has really given me a hankering to go there one day. I really want to see trees with buttress roots and emperor tamarins now!
Pack your bags, grab some sturdy clothing, and get ready to venture through the Amazon Rainforest! There is so much to learn about this tropical ecosystem, from the geography and climate, to the kinds of lush vegetation and fascinating predators and prey who call the rainforest their home. The Amazon Rainforest will take you on a journey of discovery down the Amazon River and up into the treetops filled with clouds.
