I bought these for my first grader who isn’t a huge fan of reading and he loved getting these and enjoyed reading them!
“A frog!” said Dave. “It can be my pet!”

I ordered this story for my son who is finishing up Kindergarten now. I love that even as a young reader he can have chapter books of his very own like his big brother and sister. We love reading this story together! The illustrations are too fun!
The best books!
My son loved this series that included Dave in each book. Such sweet stories! I really liked that kids feel like they are reading chapter books like their older siblings. My son reads a chapter a day and he loves adding his bookmark at the end of each chapter. The illustrations are adorable and keeps my son wanting to read more!
How to catch a frog
A. liked how Dave did the same thing as the frog in order to catch him.
C. liked that he caught the frog and made it a pet.
J. does not want a pet frog after reading that.
Mom was impressed at how patient Dave’s mother is.
