My daughter just finished it and loved it! A great choice for those mystery loving kids out there!
This really is a fun read. My kids love mystery and we learn important life lessons about forgiveness and coming together. Wholesome and entertaining!
This book was a great family read aloud that kept my kids asking for “just one more chapter!” The story is fun and fast paced with great family values.
I’ve loved all of the May Justus books I’ve read so far, but this is the only one of hers that I’ve read for a little bit older reader. Great writing, good moral lessons, and a fun little mystery besides.
Such a fun story! It’s easy to get pulled into this book. The characters were fun and it was nice seeing how each one’s strengths and talents were capitalized on. There are good morals shown, even when it would have been easy to not uphold them.
An adventure awaited the six Murray children! They had been invited to stay with their relatives out of town while their mother recovered from an illness. Little did they know that an ancient feud, a charge against their uncle, and a mysterious stranger in the town would motivate them to unite as family and friends to unravel a mystery.
“This fun story of healing, unity, and love is a delight to read. This is exactly the kind of gentle, inspiring literature that builds strong writers, strong minds, and strong hearts.”—Jenny Phillips
