What is the return/cancellation policy?

Because the majority of returned curriculum materials arrive back damaged, we have very strict refund and return policies. We recommend carefully reviewing the many sample pages of the curriculum or downloading the free version (if available) before deciding whether the curriculum is right for you. Please also review your cart to ensure the accuracy of the items and quantities desired before purchasing. 

Exchanges are not accepted. All returns will be processed and refunded according to the return policy below. Note that items cannot be sent back to you after they are returned. If you have any return-related questions, please contact us at support@goodandbeautiful.com prior to sending your return.

Returns of Physical Products

  • All returns must be postmarked within 30 days of receipt of your package. Items purchased online can be returned by mail to our warehouse or may be dropped off at our storefront during normal business hours only. Items purchased at our storefront can be returned by mail to our warehouse or dropped off at our storefront within 30 days of purchase. 
  • Items must be returned in their original condition. Should there be any damage to the items when you receive them, please contact us prior to sending a return so we may best assist. Items that are shrink-wrapped or in bags and would need to be returned to us in the original packaging can be found at the bottom of this return policy. Clearance, closeout, or discontinued items may not be returned. Please use a sturdy box and plenty of bubble wrap when returning items. We highly suggest securely wrapping each book individually, as well as including plenty of additional packing material. Do not use the original box or packing materials that the order came in, as boxes and packing materials are made for one-time use only and typically cannot survive a return trip in good condition. Please be aware that Media Mail shipments go through extra sort facilities and often have a rough ride. We highly recommend Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx for the best possibility of your materials arriving to us undamaged. If you are returning items to our storefront, please return them in a box if possible. 
  • You must pay the shipping costs for materials to be returned. Insurance on packages is recommended, and all disputes regarding return shipping must be handled by the customer with the shipping provider. The Good and the Beautiful is not responsible for any packages lost or damaged during the return process. 
  • No documentation is needed for a return, but please ensure we can connect your return to your order by ensuring the name and address on the return label match your original order. If the return label does not match, or if you would like, please place a note inside the box with your information and/or order number. Returns are typically processed within 30 days of receipt. An email confirmation is sent after a refund has been processed. 

Refund Amounts

  • If items arrive back damaged for any reason, including but not limited to insufficient packaging, damage during shipment, or items no longer in their original shrink-wrapping, but in good enough condition for us to sell as “scratch and dent,” you will be refunded 40% of the purchase price, minus original shipping charges and any downloaded PDFs, in the form of the original payment*. 
  • If items are postmarked past 30 days of receipt of your package or are ineligible for return (such as clearance or discontinued items), as a courtesy, you will be refunded 20% of the purchase price, minus original shipping charges and any downloaded PDFs, in the form of the original payment*. 
  • Items that are written in, even if the writing has been erased, will be refunded 0% of the purchase price. Items that are used are not eligible for any refund.
  • If items arrive back to us completely undamaged and postmarked within 30 days of receipt of your package, you will be refunded 100% of your purchase price, minus original shipping charges and any downloaded PDFs, in the form of the original payment*.

By returning items to the address above, they become the property of The Good and the Beautiful upon receipt. Note that items cannot be sent back to you after they are returned.

Returns of Digital Items

  • Downloaded materials (all PDF files) may not be returned, refunded, exchanged, or credited. Once materials have been downloaded or digital items have been accessed, there is no way for us to retrieve those materials and complete a refund or exchange. NOTE: Musical Multiplication App Access may not be returned, refunded, exchanged, or credited. The Creative Arts and Crafts Notebook comes with a PDF file. Returns of the Creative Arts and Crafts Notebook are not accepted if the PDF has been downloaded.

Returns of Items Placed Using State Funding or Other Third-Party Payment

  • State-funded and third-party payment programs usually have restrictions on returns for items purchased using funding. Please review your program’s return information and always email us at support@goodandbeautiful.com prior to sending a return for any items paid for by a state-funded program or any other third party. 

*Should your original payment source not accept a refund for any reason, including but not limited to exceeding their time limit for refund acceptance (typically 90 or more days from the purchase date but different banking and credit card institutions do vary), you will be given the choice of having funds returned through either a PayPal transaction or store credit in the form of a coupon code.

The Good and the Beautiful reserves the right to modify this policy at any time and reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders, returns, or refunds for violations or abuse of our returns policy, or any fraudulent activities related to returns.
