This book made me cry! I think it’s one of my forever favorite children’s books. It was perfect for my kindergarten son too. There were some challenging words, but the story was so good that he was motivated to read it himself. Highly recommend!

Fairy tale with life lessons

I love the Gold Tales series of book because they’re fairy tales for children with plenty of life lessons interwoven in a deep story line. This book emphasizes how God will always help us, not in “magical” ways but in ways that help us learn. The series is such a fun collection of hard back books for early readers.
