Love this series of books. The stories have such simple, sweet messages and are so beautifully illustrated.
My kids love all the silver and gold tale books. They are especially lovely due to their colorful illustrations and crisp thick pages. Blake teaches readers to conquer their fears and to turn into a leader when the need arises. My daughter especially enjoys this book. It’s an easy read, not too short but not too long.
I loved the example of a boy being brave to help his mom and growing up to be a good man. My sons need good examples of men in their lives.
This is a short and vibrant book about being brave. My daughter was cheering him on as I read it aloud. Great pictures and a clear message about bravery.
It has a great message of bravery.
I think what I love most about this book, is that at the end, he is passing the trait of bravery to his own children.
Blake the brave spends his days doing brave things and being a brave boy. One day he is faced with something he finds he is afraid of, and there is no one nearby to help him. Will Blake find the courage to face his greatest fear?
