Blake the Brave
by Jenny Phillips
I Really Liked the Book
It was easy to read. I liked the maze in the book.
My 4-year old favorite
This is by far my son’s favorite, either reading it by the physical copy or audio. Asked him why and according to him it’s because Blake is brave and he wanted to be like him. My daughter loves it too. I think we all are! It has nice pictures, words were carefully chosen and beautiful characters trait were subtly promoted in such a wonderful way that kids would love to imitate.
"Let's keep reading!"
My struggling reader read this with much-improved fluency. She also wanted to KEEP reading, which says a lot for the story, since she usually likes to read a bare minimum since she works so hard doing it. She liked that even though Blake was brave, he was still scared of one thing.
My children and I all like the high print quality of these Gold Tales books. They are really well done and sturdy.
My son loved :)
Beautiful pictures. My 6 year old son liked this book and the pictures 🙂
One of our favorites
I recently purchased a handful of books in level 1b for my son and this one is one of his favorites. We love the good and wholesome stories from the good and the beautiful library!
Blake the Brave spends his days doing brave things and being a brave boy. One day he is faced with something he finds he is afraid of, and there is no one nearby to help him. Will Blake find the courage to face his greatest fear?
