Connected Learning Nurtures the Heart and Enriches the Mind
The newest revised product in our series of award-winning language arts courses has arrived! Level 6 Language Arts combines grammar, reading, literature, spelling, writing, vocabulary, art, and geography into one powerful, academically rich course. Six correlated readers integrate meaningful learning into the 120 lessons through the study of new literary concepts, reading comprehension questions, and engaging book discussions. Each of the six units focuses on a geographic location and seamlessly incorporates a character-building message like family, mercy, or forgiveness. Art, poetry, Greek and Latin roots, and more round out this course, which has been intentionally designed to nurture a child’s heart while providing a year of deep, robust learning.
Self-Directed Study Through a Balance of Written and Online Exercises
The two Level 6 Language Arts Course Books contain the teaching and written exercises for this mostly independent course. These varied lessons are effective and gentle, and they engage the student in deep thinking about and analysis of grammar and language. Throughout the course, children are exposed to beautiful artwork, thoughtful poetry, stunning nature photography, and connected reading comprehension essays about geography and art.
The free online elements of this language arts course, which students use in most lessons, provide helpful teaching videos, correlated book discussions, narrated art analysis, a word processor for writing projects, grammar and geography flashcards, and vocabulary reading skills videos and practice. Don’t forget our FREE spelling program, Simply Good and Beautiful Spelling, a course that meets your children right where they are and curates the lessons as they go! Together, the Level 6 Language Arts Course Books and the online videos and exercises combine to create a robust, streamlined, self-directed course.
