We loved reading this book as we went through the bird unit study! We learned so many things about the lives of a barn swallow, a bobwhite, and the downy woodpecker! The drawings were classic and helpful providing a deeper and better understanding. The stories kept attention while educating us all!
We absolutely love this book. As soon as it came my daughter read the entire book and kept telling me parts of it. It is really fascinating to learn everything birds go through and especially how eggs are formed.
My children absolutely loved the stories in this book. Great addition to our unit.
We loved these Charlotte mason style stories that follow the life of a specific bird while learning about them
I am reading aloud to my children as we are studying the bird unit. Perfect mixture of sweet stories and facts about birds!
