This student-led full-year course has 120 lessons divided into six convenient unit workbooks that include lab reports and note-taking worksheets. Lessons instruct students when to read from the Wonders of Biology online texts—gorgeous digital books featuring stunning photos and illustrations, beautiful writing, and clear explanations. Captivating videos and user-friendly labs round out this academically strong and enjoyable course. Periodic quizzes, tests for every unit, and a final exam are provided in the Tests & Quizzes booklet. A PDF Answer Key is also included with purchase.
Eleven labs are scattered throughout the course and consist of interesting experiments or scientific demonstrations with guided lab reports. Supplies needed for each lab are listed at the beginning of the lesson and are carefully selected to be as easy to gather as possible. In addition, all the labs in the course are fully demonstrated on video, so your student always has the option to watch the video instead of completing the lab hands on.
