A great story about a boy who tried to finish things, but never did. In the end he becomes a hero because he sticks to the task and completes it and becomes a hero! Such great and relatable lessons in this book! A favorite in our house for sure!

I haven’t had my child read this, but after buying it and pre-reading it, I am impressed! This looks like a fantastic adventure where the hero grew into making good choices, even when it was hard and he faced challenges that could have made him want to quit. I’m pleased to add this to our home library and plan to have my boys both read this when they reach this reading level.

Such a perfect book that made me laugh a lot as it reminded me of my own child and what we as parents always tell them – NEVER GIVE UP! A perfect lesson in an awesome story inspiring them to never give up. Love the Silver Tales series teaching perfect lessons in a great story and beautiful illustrations.

Amy has done it again! 👏

This is SUCH a cute little story of a boy named Hugo.

As a parent, it can be frustrating when children don’t “finish” what they’re asked to do. In this book, the responses from the parents and sister were just heartwarming! It was a reminder for me that the words I tell my children will stick with them, always.

I HIGHLY recommend this book! The message is fantastic. The illustrations are amazing, as always.

My little 3 and 4 year olds asked me to read it aloud as soon as they saw me holding it! It is an excellent read aloud option.

This book definitely takes the cake of all the Silver Tales books in my opinion! It is about a little boy who never finishes anything and it all comes to a head where he finally learns to finish a task and not give up. Great teaching story to little kids. Love it.
