Silver Tales Series
Wonderful book!
My daughter is 8 years old a few months into 2nd grade and she is dyslexic. I was looking for a book that she could read for fun that she could mostly read on her own. She loved the story and asked to read it together and finished it in just a few days. She needed help with a few words in each chapter but read a majority of it on her own and it gave her so much confidence to read an entire story. She’s asking for another book about Princess Penny!
Great first chapter book
A very sweet story. My daughter enjoyed reading it.
[Review of Gwennie and the Great Green Forest]
So nice to have beautiful books for lower reading levels!
We love the silver and gold tales series-they are adorable and have such sweet stories with beautiful illustrations. There are not a lot of good quality chapter books available for this reading level and we are so glad to have these!!
Such a sweet story
We loved this sweet tale! We actually tap our own maple trees each year, so my daughter really enjoyed guessing where the story was headed. The silly goat added some comic relief, and all the hard work put in by the family was not missed by my kiddo! We also paired it with the sap section in Science for Little Hearts and Hands. It was perfect!
