These books are all published by The Good and the Beautiful Library and are designed to appeal to children in grades K–8. Lessons will prompt students when to read these optional books, but they are not integrated with the lessons.

We will follow him through his ecosystem as he goes about his nightly business, and then join him as he ventures out on his own during the day. There is always something interesting to observe at any time of day or night in this surprisingly biodiverse ecosystem.
