Learn Scientific Principles Through Guided Exploration
The new Kitchen Science elective from The Good and the Beautiful combines the wonder of science with fun in the kitchen! In this parent-led course, children in preschool through 2nd grade explore basic scientific principles such as gravity, the scientific method, states of matter, density, and chemical changes using everyday foods and common household items. The 12 guided lessons help parents walk their children step-by-step through experiments in which children make unique items such as marshmallows, ice cream, crystals, an hourglass, and a lava lamp! A supply list at the front lists all needed materials for the entire course for convenience.
