These books are all published by The Good and the Beautiful Library and are designed to appeal to children in grades K–8. Lessons will prompt students when to read these optional books, but they are not integrated with the lessons.

Dad creates the Turn Away Game to help his children practice turning away when inappropriate pictures pop up on screens. Dad warns them to turn away even if they are curious, and he shares how looking at pornography can be addictive. The Turn Away Game is a gentle story that teaches children to discern between bad and good images and the importance of deciding to turn away.

This book is an optional read-aloud book for our Safety Science Unit and is included in the optional Read-Aloud Book Pack which is suggested to accompany that unit.

The internet has many opportunities for learning, but users should proceed with caution. This book teaches about identity theft, online sexual predators and sextortion, cyberbullying, pornography, and much more. This is information you don’t want your children to miss.

The full-color Course Book guides the parent through each lesson in the Safety science course. Hands-on activities, a Safety video, vocabulary words, beautiful illustrations and images, along with engaging information is found throughout the course. Once you gather any simple lesson supplies, the lessons are open and go. Just turn to a lesson and start reading and learning together! This course is taught family-style and only one Course Book is needed per family.
