High School Language Arts

Our High School Language Arts 1, 2, and 3 courses incorporate everything needed to meet three years of high school state requirements. (For more information about your state’s specific requirements, read our blog post Understanding Homeschool Requirements by State.)

By design, there is no High School 4: Language Arts course, as all necessary concepts are taught in full in the three language arts courses we offer.

Read on below for options for fourth year language arts options.

High School Earth & Space Science is almost complete and is currently being piloted by families. It’s a huge undertaking, and we expect it to be released in spring 2027. After that, we will be creating High School Physical Science.

High School Math

Students have two math track options after completing Simply Good and Beautiful Math 6:

Use the High School Math Tracks chart below to help plan your student’s math courses throughout high school.

Questions to ask when deciding which path is best for your student:

  • How much does my student enjoy math in general?
  • What are my state’s requirements for high school graduation? Read our blog post Homeschool Requirements by State for more information.
  • What are my student’s post high school plans? Will they be going into a math-intensive field?

There is no right or wrong decision. The choice is a personal one, but do consider future courses and your state’s requirements. Use the High School Math Tracks chart and the Algebra Readiness Test to help guide your decision.

Our current plans for high school math courses include: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. No release dates have been determined yet.

High School History

Our development team is currently wrapping up creation of the new History Year 4 for grades 3–8, which is expected to be released February 2027. History Year 1, History Year 2, and History Year 3 are all currently available.

As soon as we wrap up our grades 3–8 history courses, our history team will start on high school history courses such as World History and US History.

High School Electives

We have released several fun electives for preschool through eighth grade over the past year, but we have not forgotten about highschool! Several elective classes to prepare students to face adulthood and parenthood with faith, character, knowledge, and powerful skills are in the works. No release date determined at this time.

Homeschool Accreditation

Our current high school offerings meet or exceed state standards. However, they are non-accredited courses. We do take into consideration state graduation requirements, which vary by state, as we write curriculum. For more state-specific information, visit our blog post Homeschool Requirements by State.

I’m one of the 3% with high school students (3 this year)! I can’t tell you how much I hope more high school content comes out in the near future. We love The Good and the Beautiful for our littles and bigs! We’ve never found anything that even comes close to the quality of this curriculum.

I am brand new to homeschooling my son who will be 15 this month and is autistic and ADHD. He loves to sing and draw and build with legos. He does not like to type or write, so that has been a challenge. Any advice for me would be welcomed.

We’re so happy you found us, Holly! Our curriculum is not designed specifically for children with learning differences. However, many parents have had success using our programs by making adjustments as needed for their child. We understand that not every child will use the suggested level for their age. Because of this, we do not offer grade-specific bundles. By offering items a la carte, it allows you to customize each subject to your child’s needs and abilities. We advise parents to administer our Language Arts and Math Placement Tests before purchasing items as these tests will give you a more detailed look at your child’s needs. Please reach out to support@goodandbeautiful.com if our customer support team can help provide more personalized guidance.
