Remove Limiting Beliefs

When I tell people that I homeschool, the responses I get most often are “I could never do that” and “I wouldn’t have enough patience to do that.” But what if you didn’t allow these limiting beliefs in your life? What if you said, “If God wants me to, I can and I would”? What if God has bigger plans for you and your family—a different path than the one you’re on?

I had limiting beliefs in my life recently. They were crushing. But when God said to me, “Yes, you can,” I believed Him, and He led me to places that I never imagined I would be.

What does God have planned for you and your children?

I’m Jenny Phillips, the founder of The Good and the Beautiful homeschool curriculum, and my message to you is: You can. You might not have the patience now, but you can develop it. You might not get along well with your child, but you can learn to. You and your children can change. You and your children can swim against the tide, raise your sights, and find more joy and beauty in life. What does God have planned for you and your children? Finding that out is important.

Split Path in a Forest | The Good and the Beautiful

I guarantee that God has more for your family. You can be deeply involved in your children’s education, whether that is homeschool or not, and in shaping your children’s hearts through how and what they learn and read. And when you ask God to show you how, He will, and you can do it!

“Just how much my children needed me to step in and teach them at THEIR level and THEIR pace. Also, that I CAN teach my son with a learning disability . . . I’m his MOM. We’ve been homeschooling since 2021 and I wish I would’ve started years ago, when my heart was wanting to. I let my fears and worries stall me from making that leap.”

— Michelle DM.

“That it would change our lives for the positive in every way. That it’s not as hard as it seems. That you can go at your own pace. That it is customized learning at its best. That there are so many resources. It’s amazing!”

— Jessica L.

“That everything we do is a learning experience and homeschooling isn’t just core subjects but teaching life skills. Give yourself grace when you fall behind or your child doesn’t learn things as fast as others. It’s a journey not a race. So make it an adventure and have fun.”

— Sara M.

“I wish I would have known that it would restore my kids' confidence, that it would bring peace and order to our home. That I didn’t need to worry so much, that there was more than one way to accomplish the end goal, etc. There was so much I wish I knew, because I would have started sooner.”

— Sara K.

“That it would be the best decision we ever made. We had some challenges, but hands down the best thing. I wouldn’t have worried so much about doing “enough” and “getting it right.” It all works out in the long term. One graduated and in college and second one half way through high school.”

— Jennifer C.

“You don’t need 6+ hours of lessons for them to succeed. Short lessons that catch their attention are actually more beneficial and easily retained.”

— Jaclyn JB.

I struggled so much until I found The Good and the Beautiful; one of the advice I give is to learn your child’s learning style and what type of homeschool style you like, so you don’t feel so overwhelmed.
This curriculum helped me so much, since it was easy to just “open and go”. I would recommend The good and the beautiful to anyone that is starting to homeschool, being so easy would help me establish routines and new habits, without worrying about preparing next day’s plan for schoolwork 🥰
