So glad I stumbled upon this curriculum. We are a secular homeschooling family but with very similar values as such of those encouraged in TGTB curriculum. We respect everyone’s religious views and that is what we teach our children. Before we started homeschooling I would cringe at the books my kids were exposed to and even some of the books the school chose to promote. What we have found in this curriculum is truly Good and Beautiful. Thank you to everyone making this possible!

I consider myself Pagan and my husband has some Christian beliefs. We both love everything we see in TGATB. We are so happy we found this curriculum and I will continue to support this company.

I have been homeschooling for nearly a decade, and have tried many, many different curricula. The Good and the Beautiful is by far the most lovely, complete, challenging, yet easy-to-use Christian option out there! We love how it has enriched our lives, and I have observed the noticable influence of this beautiful, value-based curriculum on my children.

We are a Christian family and I go to other curriculums but always come back to TGATB. We just started the math and it’s the best fit for my 6 year old son. My 12 year old daughter loves the handwriting books and nature journals. I hope you keep expanding on those. I do wish the history and language arts were more streamlined and consolidated. I get confused jumping from book to book and I find myself not using them as much. Love love the science units! Love how it’s all in one place. We have done 3 so far. Maybe consider something similar for history? history unit studies for the more scattered homeschool moms? Thanks!!

      Hi Sara,
We are a Christian family too and I am in my first year of homeschooling my kindergartener and have chosen The Good and the Beautiful which came highly recommended by my sister in law. We are really liking it, my son especially loves the Math K course. But i am finding that I’d like to add in some supplemental Bible. You mentioned you had used other curriculums, did you ever find a Bible course that you liked?
Right now I’m planning to stick with TGATB for next year, adding in a few science units, and the new Pre K for my 4 year old, but I would really like to add in some Bible too.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Hi Sara, thanks so much for taking the time to comment! To add variety and engagement to our levels, we do have some components outside of the course book in Language Arts and History. We work hard to keep the moving parts to a minimum while still offering variety and interest. With a checkbox system within each lesson to guide you through each activity, reading, or audio dramatization, we strive to make it as user friendly as possible. We also split up the lessons in both subjects into units so you could work on a unit at a time without being too overwhelmed. We are so glad you are loving our handwriting, science, and nature notebook!
