Bookshop Grand Opening on May 1, 2024
The Good and the Beautiful Bookshop will replace our current library on May 1. Along with many of our well-loved books currently offered, 30 new, original titles will be released for this special grand opening. Our incredibly creative authors have written several brand-new stories and chapter books that are not only wholesome and uplifting, but also fun and engaging.
One of the book series to be released with the Bookshop’s grand opening is Little Glass Lake. This level 2 series takes young readers on adventures with three families that live around Little Glass Lake. With beautiful messages and writing by Jenny Phillips and amazing illustrations by award-winning illustrator Brandon Dorman, this series will inspire both a love of reading and a love of nature.
Children will enjoy reading more about the animals they meet at Little Glass Lake in Good and Beautiful Animal Guides. Each guide correlates with one of the stories and contains lovely illustrations and fascinating facts about ducks, turtles, hummingbirds, or rabbits.
