My 12 year old son loves and memorizes animal facts. He enjoyed this book, because while he’d already heard of all of the featured creatures, there were new-to-him facts about each animal! My younger boys also enjoyed the book. The photos are beautiful and the book is interesting.
There is something about dangerous creatures that make them so intriguing! My 7 year old boy loved this book with its stunning pictures and interesting facts.
Each page has a different creature on it so my daughters were excited to read about some of the animals in the sea that they had no idea existed – like the Stargazer. They also leaned interesting facts about ones they were already familiar with – like the Tiger Shark or Stingray.
My children (6 and 11) enjoyed the facts and interesting creatures in this book. My six-year-old liked it enough that he took it to read himself after we read it aloud together. That’s the best recommendation!
