Level 1 is great and easy though challenging enough for my 5 & 7 year old’s. Simple pictures explained easily through steps that then my kids can color in and embellish as they like. Great beginning drawing book!
Art has never been on of my strong suits, although my children are amazing at drawing!
I bought this for my kids, yes, but I knew I was going to use them as well!
It is PERFECT for those, who like me, need a boost of confidence!
There are not any written directions, just steps for you to add to your drawing.
The binding makes it difficult to keep open while drawing. You could get it cut off and spiral bind it, which would make it easier to use.
I recommend this 100%!
My 6 year old girl and 10 year old boy both like learning to draw with these easy to follow images.
I LOVED that this encouraged my budding artist to be able to see step by step spatial relations and encourage a love to draw.
We came back to level 1 after trying level 3. (Apparently, we are beginners.) It is a great starting point for anyone who wants to increase their drawing skills. My kids’ skills are improving quicker than mine are and they were ready for the next book before I was.
