I loved this little reader. The story teaches not to quit and that hard work does pay off. It’s hard to find stories that teach those kind of lessons. I really liked that while my daughter is learning to read she is also learning great life lessons!
We loved this story about a young who wants to dance. Does a great job showing that when you want to do something it may not come easy at first, but with practice you can do it!
This story about perseverance is a great story for young kids that are easily discouraged. With beautiful pictures and a fun story, it’s a great addition to our bookshelf!
This book has 5 chapters. It’s always a thrill to my young readers when they read a chapter book! This book definitely appealed to my daughter more than my sons, but it is a sweet story with a nice theme of perseverance. This is the book that my daughter picks up to read most often.
My daughter is 7 and struggles with reading but she enjoyed reading this one because it is like a chapter book and had girls dancing in it.
“Lena wanted to dance. More than anything else in the world, she wanted to twirl and leap and dance around on her toes.”
Lena dreams of being a dancer and doing big, beautiful leaps for everyone to see. But first, she has to learn how! It will take both dance lessons and life lessons for Lena to learn how to dance. Lena will have to work very hard to be ready for her big recital. Will she have the perfect leap ready in time?
