My boys and I really enjoyed this book! It’s full of great information about each layer of the Amazon. The photographs are stunning. We liked that the book is written from a narrative perspective, the author walking you through the forest as though you’re there exploring it. This drew my boys in more than just reading lists of facts or a textbook would have done.
I love all the beautiful pictures and learning about the ecosystem of the Amazon rainforest. This book teaches many interesting facts that I had never known before. The writing is interesting and descriptive, not too textbookish.
This book was delightfully written and packed with great information. You will learn about plants, animals, seasons, food-chains, the rainforest layers, and more!
