Each student grades 3–6 needs his or her own copy of the 32-page Weather and Water Student Journal which includes interactive activities, games, and worksheets the child will complete during the lessons. The parent-led lessons in the Course Book will direct the student regarding when to complete the Student Journal activities.

These books are all published by The Good and the Beautiful Library and are designed to appeal to children of many ages. Lessons will prompt students when to read these optional books, but they are not integrated with the lessons.
