This book will be perfect for my new reader once he’s ready for it. Dave goes on nature adventures with his mom, adopts a new pet, but realizes it’s better off back out in nature. The relationship between Dave and his mom is sweet.
Great Beginner Chapter Book
This easy to read beginner chapter book was perfect for my 1st grader. We loved the story about Dave and his adventure with finding and losing a new pet frog.

I loved this cute story and the illustrations are absolutely beautiful! Every page was so wonderful to look at. My kids love to study the pictures in books and these are a feast for the eyes!
