My First Africa Reader
Wonderful early reader!
I am so impressed with the variety of stories and illustrations within this early reader. I love that my child is simultaneously learning about Africa’s geography and parts of each country’s culture as she also practices her early reading skills. Whereas early readers can often be dry, rote, or boring, this reader accomplishes so much within its pages! Simply wonderful.
Such a Wonderful Addition to Our Library
My kids love this book. They get so excited about the map and finding the country it’s set in at the beginning of every story. I love that it follows the booster A cards and it gives us some variety in our reading.

Excellent for begging readers
This is a simple but beautiful book to talk about Africa with little ones. They get to read at their level and feel confident while learning about the animals, places, cultures of Africa. I love the charity involved with this product. If you have a young kid learning to read, this is an excellent product!
My First Africa Reader includes 22 short stories for brand-new readers. Each story is set in a different country in Africa and focuses on one or two phonics concepts or groups of kindergarten sight words. My First Readers follow the exact scope and sequence of the Reading Booster A Cards, which are integrated into the Level K Language Arts Set. For example, Story #11 in My First Africa Reader covers ending consonant blends that correlate with a corresponding reading booster card, and avoids any concepts the child has not learned yet.
