I originally purchased this to use in a few years for my daughter for high school. I love Abraham Lincoln so much I ended up reading it myself. It kept me engaged and was very well put.

We loved this book. Lincoln is one of our favorite presidents to learn about and this book kept my kids engaged while also presenting plenty of facts! I definitely recommend it!

I’m so grateful to Jenny Phillips for making wonderful biographies like this easier to access. I enjoyed reading this both on my own and with my 13 year old daughter for a class she was taking on the Civil War. We both liked the book. The beginning of his life was more enjoyable for her to read through than the presidential details, but both are important, and when we read those last chapters together, we both learned so much!
