This family-style course is fun and simple to teach!
This 14-lesson Chemistry unit especially for students in grades 5–8. See chemical changes in action through simple experiments and hands-on activities!

Required Items
*Copyright: If you use this science course in a group setting, you must purchase an physical copy of the unit book for each set of eight children in the class.
You must purchase a student journal for each child who will be completing the unit.

Student Journal
Each student needs his or her own student journal. Lessons direct the child when to complete the activities in the journal.

Lesson Preparation
Just open and go! Your Chemistry Science Unit Study arrives wire bound. Each student needs his or her own perfect bound Student Journal.

Science Wall Vocabulary
Cut apart the vocabulary words now, so they are ready to be placed on your science wall. The course tells you when to use these.

Activities
Engage children with hands-on activities. Always use appropriate adult supervision. A complete supply list is found here.

Experiments
Several lessons include fun experiments that show chemical reactions up close. Perform the experiments or conveniently watch them here or from The Good and the Beautiful Homeschool app on your mobile device.
For Grades 5–8
This unit study is designed for grades 5–8. We recommend choosing one of our other engaging science units if you are teaching children younger than grade 5.
Unit Videos
Some lessons include videos that complement the lesson. Have a device available that is capable of playing videos. Videos can be found here or from The Good and the Beautiful Homeschool app.
