I found Kate and her story to be so delightful. This was a lovely story about contentment and gratitude for what you already have. I just love these Gold Tales and so do my five and seven-year-old.

This book really made my daughter think. She talked about things that she was grateful for after reading it, without being prompted. I appreciate positive attitude that she had after reading this uplifting story.

I really love this sweet story of a blind girl who loves her life and learns to love it even more as she contrasts her simple joys and blessings with the fancy lifestyle of the queen of the land. There are beautiful lessons written into this fun and interesting adventure, all written at the perfect level for young readers!

Such a cute story with a great lesson. Kate, who is blind, teaches us to be happy what ever our circumstances in life.
